React Industrial Services is a professional family run business with a wealth of knowledge of 30 years+ collectively, specialising in industrial cleaning services and the transport of hazardous & non hazardous waste.

We have a fleet of Class 1 ADR tankers and team of highly experienced industrial cleaning operatives. All trained to work in high risk confined spaces and use of high-pressure water jetting.

Here at React, we offer a 24/7 emergency service, for any spillages, environmental incidents, or site emergencies.

Tank cleaning and removal project:

Before & After

Part 1: External tank cleaning

There were various phases to this project, the initial phase was to remove the liquid residues from each individual tank and keep these segregated.

This was an important part of the project to ensure we were meeting health and safety standards.

With the use of vacuum tanker and high pressure jetting equipment, the team removed and cleaned all residues from the tanks.

Part 2: Internal tank removal

With the tanks being located internally, this posed an issue of getting the tanks removed without having to remove the roof on the building.

With some planning and specialist decom and lifting equipment this was averted, this saved a significant cost to the client by not having to remove any roofing structure.

All tanks were either cut up in situ or were removed via the side roller shutter.

Part 3: Pipework and tank removal

The final phase of the project was to clean flush and remove associated pipework within the building.

The React team used jetting and cutting equipment to purge all the pipework and associated tanks prior to removal, all waste was packaged and labelled ready for offsite disposal.

All waste and washings for the project were transported to a licensed site for disposal, treatment or recycling.

Paint tank cleaning

The React team attended site with a vacuum tanker and cleaning operatives, the liquid phase was loaded onto the tanker provided and then the Industrial team gained access into the tank with confined space equipment.

All waste and residues were cleaned with the use of jetting equipment, all washings were loaded onto the tanker provided and transported to a licenced site for safe disposal.

Flood sheet cleaning

We were called to a customers site to offer a solution for their site flood sheet cleaning, as you can see there was a build up of paint related materials that form a stalagmite like appearance. These works were completed with confined space entry equipment and high pressure water jetting equipment.

From the site visit through to execution you can see what we were up against and the final result. The React team did an excellent job and the team supervisor managed the H&S and project exceptionally, our client was very pleased with the works and advised they have never seen the booths so clean.

Can you offer non man entry on confined space or tank cleaning?

Yes, there are a diverse range of options now including specific tank cleaning heads/jetting equipment and remote operated equipment with specialist cleaning attachments.

What is your approach to minimising downtime during cleaning operations?

We offer a flexible approach that includes, weekend work, out of operational hour or production time cleaning/night shifts, to offer a solution that is bespoke for each project or customer requirement.

Do you offer decommissioning, as well as industrial cleaning?

Yes, we can offer a bespoke approach to each project and depending on the scale of works required. We have our industrial cleaning division with specialists for tank cleaning and industrial services but also work with trusted partners to offer full decommissioning and removal of tanks/plant and equipment.
